On Saturday, October 18, WFPL will host the fifth annual Watertown Zine Fest. Zines are small-batch, DIY publications that provide a powerful platform of expression for underrepresented perspectives and voices. Join us in celebrating all things zine! Watertown Zine Fest, hosted by WFPL, is a day-long celebration of zine culture and DIY publishing. Browse the marketplace, attend zinester workshops, and check out the Library’s growing zine collection. If you’re asking, “what’s a zine?” that’s ok! Zine Fest is a great place to learn. 

• Visit the Zine Marketplace to meet buy and barter for zines in the Watertown Savings Bank Room.
• Make your own zine in the Zine Hive in the Teen Room (open to adults).
• Check out our zine workshops (TBA) in the Zine Hive in the Teen Room (open to adults).
• Chill out and browse our circulating zine collection in the Zine Reading Zone upstairs in the Mastrangelo Room on the 2nd floor.
