"Octobird" is the perfect month to celebrate with The Raven from Edgar Allen Poe’s famous poem.  A little spooky, a little sweet, this handsewn raven will lend that perfect shadowy atmosphere to your chamber (with or without a speech ribbon proclaiming “Nevermore”).

For intermediate stitchers with hand sewing experience and patience.

This workshop is for adults and older children ages 12+. Children ages 12-17 may attend on their own as long as their parent or legal guardian cosigns Hatch's waiver form in person before the event.

Registrations for Hatch events now open 4 weeks prior to each event. Our events fill quickly, so you may wish to mark your calendar with the registration dates ahead of time!

This event takes place at WFPL’s Hatch Makerspace, located at 20 Summer Street in Watertown, just a few blocks away from the Library. Hatch is an entirely free workspace full of tools and materials that you can use anytime we're open.
