Oh, Scrap! Quilted Fabric Coasters *Sustainability Series*
Monday, August 125:00—7:00 PMHatch Makerspace20 Summer St, Watertown, MA, 02472
* This workshop is part of our Sustainability Series, funded in part by the Watertown Community Foundation *
This project allows you to practice simple sewing while learning some basic quilting techniques. Make one or more quilted coasters from fabric scraps and iron-on interfacing. We’ll demonstrate the “wonky log cabin” type of block, but you can use any design from the most traditional to the wonkiest crazy patchwork using this basic pattern.
Beginner level
This workshop is for adults and older children ages 12+. Children ages 12-17 may attend on their own as long as their parent or legal guardian cosigns Hatch's waiver form in person before the event.
