About the Instructor:
Jihan Al Kassab is an Iraqi lady who’s resident in Watertown, a certified Pilates instructor with over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry in many countries i.e. Iraq, Jordan and UAE. She specializes in mat Pilates and is passionate about helping individuals achieve their fitness goals through mindful movement and body awareness.
She earned her Pilates certification from the renowned Balanced Body Institute and has since completed numerous advanced trainings in Pilates applications for rehabilitation, prenatal and postnatal fitness, and athletic performance. Her commitment to ongoing education ensures she stays current with the latest techniques and methodologies in the field.
Her teaching philosophy centers on the belief that Pilates is for everyone, accommodate varying fitness levels, ensuring each participant receives personalized attention and modifications suited to their needs. She emphasizes core strength, flexibility, and proper alignment cultivate a positive relationship with her students bodies, empowering them to lead healthier, more active lifestyles. Outside of the studio, she enjoys , practicing yoga, swimming, cycling and many other activities.
