Featuring instructor Caroline DeBrota
Have you ever felt frustrated that your art doesn't look as "good" as that of others? None of that matters at all at Bad Art Club, the evolution our previous workshop series Bad Drawing Club! Hatch Makerspace volunteer Caroline will lead the group in making empoweringly imperfect artworks so uniformly bad, you might just start to rethink how good your bad art can be.

This month's theme: Kingly Collage
Like a glorious feast served in a winter hall, collage combines many small delicacies to form a satisfying whole. Experiment with found artwork formed out of magazines, pictures, newspapers, drawings, and more to create new and interesting creations. Whether your funds be princely or peasantly, you can indulge in the deep excesses of imagery and maximalism that collage allows. Does an elephant belong in your bedroom? Absolutely, king.

This workshop is for adults and older children ages 12+. Children ages 12-17 may attend on their own as long as their parent or legal guardian cosigns Hatch's waiver form in person before the event.
