Are you looking to strengthen your ASL conversational skills? Join in our conversation group facilitated by Sean McCauley.

Participants should be familiar with the ASL alphabet and have some prior experience with ASL - self-guided or otherwise. This ASL class is an immersive language learning experience. Students will not speak English during this class. Participants will communicate by signing. The library will provide whiteboards/scrap paper to write questions.

Bio: Professional ASL tutor Sean M. McCauley has been an employee at WFPL for 9 years. Deaf and signing since he was a baby, he began tutoring ASL in 2011. Since the pandemic, he has tutored people in 33 states and 5 countries on Zoom, and Sean is an ASL instructor at Arlington Community Education.
